YWCA Madison is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities.
For over 110 years, YWCA Madison has been a leader in addressing the most challenging issues of the day, including gender equity, affordable housing, racial justice, restorative justice, and family supporting wages. Each year our programs and services across the greater Madison area serve over four thousand individuals and their families. We combine programming and advocacy to move the needle on three key areas: racial and gender equity, housing and shelter, and employment training and transportation.

Anything not found here will be responded to during the interview stage as we do not respond to individual inquiries about our postings. We often have multiple openings and it is virtually impossible to communicate with every applicant for every open position that we have. Please refer to this website for updates on the status of a particular opening.
Once a position’s application deadline has passed, all complete application packets are ranked based on the qualifications of that particular position. The hiring committee will then be in contact with the strongest applicants to schedule interviews for the position. Once we fill a position, this information will be posted on this website.
