Holiday Giving

YWCA Madison’s annual Holiday Giving Program benefits families with children in our Housing programs during the holiday season.

YWCA Madison currently operates 7 Housing programs and serves about 80 children across our Housing programs in Dane County. I invite you to learn more about our Housing programs that support our program participants  HERE. 

To participate in the program this year:

  • Send our Donor Relations Manager, Taylor Raether, an email to give her an estimate of how many gift cards you will donate and where they can be used. 

  • We ask that the gift cards be in increments of $25 or $50 so we can guarantee an equal distribution among families.

  • Mail or drop off gift cards to our downtown facility by  Monday, December 9.

Family activities

This year, we are once again asking for gift card donations. We want to allow our program participants the opportunity to make gift choices for themselves, which gives parents and guardians a sense of fulfillment and empowerment. If you plan to participate, we suggest you provide 3 gift cards at a minimum to the families we serve, 1 gift card in each of the following categories: groceries, general items, and family activities.
